Our CSA Program
At Hemingway Farms, we believe vibrant farms are a benefit to the whole community.
Locally grown foods are not just important; they are the backbone of a healthy and secure food supply that nurtures our communities and supports sustainable farming practices.
Purchasing CSA Shares
Purchasing a CSA share early helps us with our seeding and planting plans for the season. CSA shares help our farm with seasonal start-up costs such as labor, insurance, seed, greenhouse supplies, heating oil, etc. In return, CSA members receive a modest discount, the freshest and tastiest produce and locally grown plants. We believe vibrant farms are a benefit to the whole community and that locally grown foods are essential for a healthy and safe food supply.
We offer two kinds of Community Supported (CSA) farm shares:
Farmstand CSA
Our Farmstand CSA is the most flexible option and allows you to purchase a share in late winter/early spring at a modest discount and then use the full value of the share throughout our season at your convenience.
The Farmstand share may be used to purchase any items we grow or sell at our farm (i.e. plants, vegetables, berries, baked goods, wreaths), and is set up much like a store credit.
The Farmstand share may be used anytime during the 2026 season. Our Season Opens on April, 11, 2026 and runs through November 1st, 2026. Open for Thanksgiving Market-November 14th until November 29th.
Please note:
we will have wreaths and kissing balls for sale the week of Thanksgiving.

At Hemingway Farms, we’re thrilled to offer a delightful array of our own fresh vegetables including asparagus, zucchini, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, peaches, and apples. We carry beautiful hanging baskets and patio planters filled with annuals, vegetables for planting, herbs, perennials, and shrubs.
While you’re here, savor the sweetness of our locally made jams, pickles, honey, and maple syrup, and indulge in our delicious breads, pies, and cookies.
As the seasons change, we are well stocked with our festive pumpkins, cheerful mums, and a variety of Christmas decorations like wreaths, kissing balls, poinsettias, and ornaments that will bring joy to your home.

We also offer a more traditional Produce CSA, either a 12-week share (June 18 until September 3), an 18-week share (June 18 until October 15), or a 9-week bi-weekly share, which will begin on June 25 and end on October 15, with pick-up every other Thursday.

Here are some examples of items you can purchase with your Produce share:
The produce share will consist of an assortment of vegetables grown on our farm, harvested that morning, and will vary each week, depending upon what is in season. Strawberries, blueberries and/or raspberries will also be included when they are in season. The longer 18-week share will include more fall root vegetables and squash, items that we are normally just beginning to harvest when the 12-week share ends.
The weekly value of the produce share will be approximately $25.00. It is ideal for people who like a wide-variety of vegetables, enjoy what is locally in season, and who like to try new things. The produce share will be picked and packed by our farm crew; shareholders are responsible for picking up the delicious items each Thursday from 11 am to 6 pm at our farmstand.
Delivery to area businesses can be arranged for a minimum of six shares, contact us for more info.
Multiple shares may be purchased, Please Note: Credit card/debit card may be used, but will incur a 3% processing fee.
